There is a saying in Tamil “Kathiyaivida Koormayanadhu Pena Munai(Pen tip is sharper then a sword)”, In today’s time I believe pen will be replaced with Media. It also provokes me to suggest the individuals who are on the public eye through televisions/radio channels, internet portals etc. They had definitely influenced the following issues which they are the one bringing to our living room…
- Global economic slowdown.
- Gun culture among students of western world.
- Failure of India-Pakistan or Israel-Palestine peace talks.
- 14 year old drug addict next door.
It is a long list but it is evident its media who is the maker or breaker of any major incident happens across the world today. An atom bomb can kill hundreds of thousands of people in 1 minute but media is having the ability to end millions of lives slowly but steadily.
